This timer is not suitable to switch HPS lamps. The timer is suitable as a switch for energy saving lamps, TL and LED lighting. To connect HPS lighting we recommend a switch with a relay such as the: Time Switch Relay Box DV-12 2x600W 6A (Davin)

Timer only suitable for G-type outlet (Netherlands, Germany, Spain).
Timer can not be used for F-type outlet (Belgium, France).
