This is the waterproof pH meter TE10, an affordable and reliable pH meter. The pH meter looks neat and well finished. Places where the meter can be opened are provided with a rubber ring, that makes the meter waterproof. The meter has a digital display and is accurate to 0.1 pH.

With a pH meter you can measure the acidity of a liquid.The pH value of water+fertilizer and the pH of your soil is a very important value for your plant and the substrate. Because all life processes of plants, animals or humans are affected by the acidity this is a very important value.

The pH determines the absorption of nutrients from the substrate. Each plant has an optimum pH value at which the plant absorbs nutrients best.

For growing on soil you need a pH between 6 and 6.5.
For growing on cocos you need a pH of around 6.
For growing on hydro you need a pH value between 5.8 and 6.
