Peyote is a small, spineless cactus, Lophophora williamsii, whose principal active ingredient is the hallucinogen mescaline (3, 4, 5-trimethoxyphenethylamine). From earliest recorded time, peyote has been used by natives in northern Mexico and the southwestern United States as a part of their religious rites.

If you choose to let the peyote cactus grow for a couple of years, please note that it grows very slowly. It needs sunlight and a little water. The cactus is not ready for consumption yet.
Do not combine with alcohol, MAO-Inhibitors or other stimulants. Do not use when pregnant, depressed, on medication, driving motorized vehicles, under 18 years old.
When you're using Peyote make sure there's someone with you to assist you when necessary.
