The EC value is a value that indicates how many nutrients in a substrate or irrigation water are present. So the higher the EC value, the more nutrients are present. The recommended EC value varies per week throughout the entire cycle. At the start it is usually low, for example, a value of 1.2. Then this value increases 0.1 per week to a maximum value of 1.8.
